Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

AutoCAD includes many functions for drawing and creating technical drawings and diagrams, including those commonly used in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, architectural drafting, and construction. The user interface is primarily a “graphics” program. AutoCAD displays and manipulates 2D and 3D shapes, symbols, and text. AutoCAD drawing pages can be organized into layers. Most drawings have one or more “views” of their objects or construction, which can be viewed simultaneously. Viewing can also be manipulated, such as rotating, pivoting, scaling, and otherwise changing the camera.

What’s New in AutoCAD, 2012
Version 2012.1.1: [November 6, 2012]
AutoCAD includes a rich suite of features to help you efficiently and accurately create your designs. New features include:
Callouts. The Callout feature allows you to create high-quality callouts that can be displayed on individual shapes, lines, text, and text boxes, and even elements of a drawing’s layout.
Change selection. When a shape, line, or text is selected, you can select any part of the shape, line, or text to perform functions such as moving it.
Automatic dimension and text placement. Previously, when you first created a text box, you were prompted to select the Text Positioning property. Now, AutoCAD automatically positions text as you create it.
Improvements to the print dialog box. You can print pages of drawings directly from the drawing window by selecting the “Print Drawing Pages” option in the Print menu.
Improvements to the page setup dialog box. The dialog box now makes it easier to change the orientation of a page.
AutoCAD now supports simultaneous multi-user drawing, which allows multiple users to work simultaneously on the same drawing in different
AutoCAD Activator Free
AutoCAD is the major cross-platform application within the AutoCAD family. While the AutoCAD platform is dominant, the AutoCAD design, engineering and drawing environment also has a number of add-on applications to support various niche markets.
AutoCAD was originally released in 1987 for MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows by Autodesk, Inc., and has been since the first version for Windows 3.0. In addition to a native MS-DOS version, the Windows 3.1 version of AutoCAD was also available. AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD Classic were released in 1992, and AutoCAD NT was released in 1994. An Atari ST version was added in 1991, followed by a Macintosh version in 1992.
AutoCAD LT, which was also available for Windows and DOS, combined AutoCAD for Windows with the feature set of AutoCAD LT. In this way, it added a number of features and tools to AutoCAD, and also reduced the file size.
In 1995, AutoCAD for Windows 98 and later versions was released, followed by a release of AutoCAD for the Internet in 1996, which could be used via the Internet, or on a client computer, running AutoCAD.
AutoCAD Classic added a number of features to AutoCAD, including the ability to place objects.
In 2001, AutoCAD Release 13 added 16-bit 3D capabilities to AutoCAD, which included support for CMYK and layered surfaces. This was followed by AutoCAD Release 14, which added the ability to save drawings on DVD-Video discs. AutoCAD LT 16 was released in 2002, supporting all of the tools in AutoCAD Release 13. AutoCAD Release 15 was released in 2003.
AutoCAD release 16 was released in 2004. This included a number of new features, including a return to native 32-bit support.
In September 2006, Autodesk introduced AutoCAD 2007, which included the ability to import DWG files into a 3D environment and a fully 64-bit support for AutoCAD.
In January 2009, Autodesk released AutoCAD 2009, which added a number of new features, including the ability to place CAD objects directly in a PDF file, and the ability to import 3D drawings into AutoCAD. AutoCAD 2010 was released in 2010, which added to the ability to

2014 Arokean Trailer Shows Off Exterior Color Options
While the paint on trailers can often be a reflection of their history, not all are the same. Arokean’s 2014 Arokean Sierra 1000 fiberglass trailer is a great example of how a current design can have a very distinct look from one period to the next. Not only is the exterior fiberglass finished in “Wood Grain” color, but there are also period correct graphics, a nostalgic name, and gorgeous color combinations.
“One of the coolest things about trailers today is the fact that we can do a really good job using fiberglass as opposed to metal,” said Jim Maher, Arokean’s owner. “With metal, you have to accept the limitations of it.”
Unlike metal, which is typically painted, fiberglass is often left in a natural wood grain finish. This is usually done in a sand and stain process that takes about six hours to complete.
“We use the wood grain finish on trailers for two reasons,” Maher said. “It adds a nice feel to the trailer, and is a lot more durable than just a finish.”
The wood grain finish is very versatile. It can be applied to different parts of the trailer, and you can use it to change the appearance of the trailer’s exterior. It can be used as a base for spray painting or adding graphics. It’s also a great way to protect the wood grain from moisture or to prevent cracks.
“Because it’s so versatile, we often change the look of the wood grain finish as we go through the trailer,” Maher said.
In addition to the wood grain finish, Arokean’s trailer includes a number of period correct graphics. These are usually hand painted or printed on the trailer. They usually include the name of the trailer and the year of manufacture.
The wood grain colors can be mixed and matched to create different looks. Arokean offers two different looks, “Wood Grain” and “Wood
